Summary: Perform specific tasks related to leak detection and repair (LDAR)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm

Job Type: Full-time, benefits eligible

Pay Rate : $22-26/hr (Depending on experience)

Location: Trainer, PA

Qualifications:

  • Education/experience: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. must be familiar with basic and advanced federal regulations, auditing and safety procedures and regulations. experiencing quality controls and quality assurance (QA/QC 2). familiar with assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting sampling equipment.

  • Certification/licenses: must be an authorized LDAR by BrandSafway driver recertify annually. This role will also require a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

  • Language ability: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, in the general public. Must be able to read and understand process flow diagrams.

  • Mathematical ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiplying and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Reasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished and written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following other duties as assigned :

Monitoring

  • Properly calibrates and maintains all monitoring equipment (checks filters on analyzers at least twice daily and Teflon tip on probe often).

  • Properly execute and audit method 21

  • Properly document audit and repair instrument calibrations certifications or other analyzer related information

  • Note all components missing A tag or open-ended lines while monitoring also note component descriptions that are wrong or insufficient.

  • Safely repair leaks

  • Properly document all pertinent monitoring information

  • Properly tag leaks or delay of repair components

  • Upload/download data loggers using assign computer systems perform troubleshooting and emergency data recovery when needed.

  • Utilize appropriate abbreviations when documenting monitoring.

  • Properly utilize Leak DAS for advanced functions (database setup, customized report development, emissions, calculations, and data conversions.

  • Accurately complete leak list and deliver to responsible person in a timely manner.

  • Submit list of open-ended line to responsible person or repair as appropriate.

  • Work with maintenance to repair and re monitor leaks, perform simple to comprehensive maintenance as needed.

  • Communicate any unsafe or environmentally dangerous issues immediately to operations panel and site supervisor.

  • Prepares, attends, and advances in all required training programs.

  • Assist others within and occasionally outside operations department as assigned or needed.

  • Assist in agency audits (environmental and safety).

Tagging

  • Hang tags on affected equipment in a manner that reduces the chance for accidental removal or reduces the chance for safety incidents.

  • Log all required information while tagging and utilize appropriate abbreviations.

  • Add/removal of components through MOC process

  • Identify components on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams. (P&IDs)

Administrative

  • Submit time and production to Area Supervisor at the end of each workday.

  • Report unsafe or unethical conduct to Area Supervisor immediately.

  • Assist corporate, Regional Operations Manager or Area Supervisor as needed.
