We are looking for a Coatings Manager to manage the Revenue Growth, safety, quality, productivity and cost of all Coatings work performed by our local branch(es).
Responsibilities
Recruit & Manage Coatings Supervisors in each branch
Assist Coatings Supervisors with recruitment of Coatings workers
Determine optimal amount of Coatings Tools, Equipment & Inventory at each Branch
Assist with Sourcing of critical Coatings Tools, Equipment & Inventory
Arrange and maintain all relevant Coatings certifications, ie: QP1, QP2
Review and approve all Coatings related purchases greater than $1K
Review and approve all Coatings proposals greater than $10K
Assist with development of complex or high value (>$50K) Coatings proposals
Conduct market analysis to determine Sales volume targets for each Coatings PM
Develop and implement strategies for growing business with Area wide target customers
Assist with development of target customers and Sales pipeline for each Coatings PM
Develop Coatings Sales operating rhythm, ie: weekly calls with Coatings PM’s, monthly calls including Industrial Sales Reps
Qualifications
Experience working in a coatings operation, including selling, estimating, bidding and project management for all sizes of industrial projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Presents a professional image
Team leader – Able to lead & motivate a team of painters/blasters; willing to do what it takes to make the team successful; works well with others
