Job Description

Brand Industrial Services, Inc. a BrandSafway Company is currently recruiting for a Training Administrator based in McKees Rocks, PA. This is a long term temporary assignment with high possibilities to convert to a permanent position in 2019.

SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Training Administrator will administer and manage the company’s learning management system, performance management system and Training & Development Community portal and associated workflow. The management of these systems will include trouble-shooting, analytics and user support. In addition, the administrator will conduct training sessions on how to use and administer the training systems as required. Also, the administrator will work with course developers within the company to assist in the design and develop of training for both craft/blue collar employees and professional employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage the company’s learning management system including system configuration, curriculum creation, policies, learning metrics and reports as well as providing technical assistance, support and training to administrators, instructors, and employees.Serve as LMS subject matter expert.

  • Act as liaison between LMS provider and 3 rd party content providers.

  • Oversee Brand’s performance management system including providing technical assistance, support and training to administrators and employees.

  • Oversee the Training & Development Community portal ensuring content on the site is relevant and useful.

  • Conduct training sessions on Training systems when necessary.

  • Periodically, design and develop new courses, programs, and curriculums under the direction of a course developer.The types of training developed will include: online/ web-based, instructor-led, job-aids, and instructional manuals.

  • Publish online content in SCORM or AICC format to the LMS platform

  • Coordinate with Translation partners to translate existing course materials when applicable

  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs

Education and/or Experience

  • Required Education & Experience

  • Associate’s Degree in Education, Human Resources or a related field.

  • 2+ years related experience

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Preferred Education & Experience

  • Prior LMS Administration experience(1-3 years
