Founded in 1976, Industrial Specialists maintains facilities in Dickinson, Corpus Christi, Sulphur, and Baton Rouge Areas.

Schedule : Project based (working 5-7 days/wk)

Job Type: Full-time, benefits eligible

Pay Rate : Starting at $25/hr

Location: Dickinson, TX

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Project Managers in planning, managing, and monitoring major projects and accounts

  • Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of a portfolio of jobs and facilitate and lead efforts to drive site productivity at various sites leveraging local teams, company tools, and personal knowledge

  • Coordinate’s internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing, and summarizing project information

  • Work on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and contract deliverables

  • Utilize company database to track projects for financial success and payroll purposes

  • Participate in Project Controls team of local branch / Weekly meetings

  • Develop, maintains, and analyzes of critical project financials

  • Positively influence and inspire to enhance site productivity that drives margin increases for projects

  • Keep track of active program budgets ensuring program expenses are monitored monthly and are on target

  • Understands expectations that were set with client and recognizes when issues/events may affect delivery

  • Travel up to 35%

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree is a plus. Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply

  • Experience using Excel, Word, & Access. Experience with database management preferred

  • Understanding contracts, standard commercial T&C’s, contract compliance, invoice auditing, and proposal experience preferred

  • Oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team, customers, and specified project personnel

  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with management

  • Ability to effectively work within a matrix organization

  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and confidence

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Travel as needed to support the need of the Areas is preferred. Overtime incentives while traveling to projects

  • Strong knowledge of data set analysis

  • Experience with profit margin, cost vs profit highly desired

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI desired
