We are looking for an Insulation Estimator/Supervisor . Under the direction of the Estimating Manager, this position is responsible for estimating all of Brands services performed on projects, submitting bids and acting as project manager in the bid process. Also, perform other related duties as required. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest degree of honesty and integrity, and acting in a professional manner at all times. Safety is first and foremost in all activities, and this position is a role model for all other contractors to strive to emulate.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and submits bids

  • Overall bid ownership. Responsible for all aspects of the bid including safety, cost, profitability, schedule, and contract terms.

  • Sets up and attends pre-construction meetings.

  • Visits the job-site and consults with Project Manager and Superintendents.

  • Maintains a positive working relationship with General Contractors.

  • May prepare monthly big logs, and contribute upon request to other sales reports and analysis.

  • Participates and attends sales meetings.

  • Performs special assignments as required.

  • Communicates with vendor representatives in support of job needs and specifications.

  • Processes submittals and contracts.

  • Works with Project Managers to process all change orders.

  • Corresponds with General Contractors and industrial services consultants as necessary to complete projects.

  • Embrace Brand Safety culture, ensure entire site team is promoting and acting safely in everything they do.

  • Effectively communicate and report up to Brand Regional Management.

  • Complete understanding of all personnel policies; make informed decisions based on all the factors. Be able to anticipate possible issues and implement resolution before they escalate.

  • Ensures bid documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college or trade school in construction related field, prefer Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or another technical field from an accredited university

  • Five years experience in the construction preferably as an estimator or project manager.

  • Must have ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off constructions drawings.

  • Must possess advanced skills in mathematics.

  • Superior problem solving ability

  • Ability to analyze qualitative data

  • Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high performance teams

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
