BrandSafway Hydro Vacuum Operator in Casper, Wyoming

Until Filled (EST) | Casper, WY, USA | Operations | Full Time

An expert in the field of cathodic protection, MATCOR offers proprietary corrosion protection products, installation, cathodic protection testing, maintenance and complete corrosion protection project management. MATCOR specializes in protecting the infrastructure of the oil and gas, electric utility, transportation and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsible for completion of Hydrovac projects in a safe and timely manner.

Ensure Hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times. Perform both Pre and Post trip inspections for every job.

Operate high pressure wand for excavation and vacuum system

Assist labor hand with debris tank disposal

Assist labor hand with filling water tank

Set up/break down of equipment at job site

Assist mechanic on truck repairs as requested

Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) :

Capable of maintaining a safe work environment at all times

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must possess a valid Class A CDL driver's license w/Tanker Endorsement

Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills

Must have a positive attitude and good work ethic

Be willing to travel 75% of the time to the jobsite and stay out of town as needed

Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions on a regular basis including extreme cold and heat

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform other related physical activities for long periods of time

Must be able to pass DOT required drug test and background check

Experience :

Previous hydro excavation experience required.
